Wizards & Wine combines all of your favorite things—wonderfully witchy science activities and demonstrations, potent potions and elixirs supplied by Boordy Vineyards, and open-ended exploration of the Science Center’s exhibit halls. Be sure to grab your tickets before they magically disappear!
Activities include:
- Drop by the apothecary for a sensory study of spellbinding ingredients—see if your nose knows!
- Visit the potions laboratory to mix up a color-changing drinkable chemical concoction
- Pop over to the Great Hall for a delightful sampling of wine and snack pairings
- Roll up your robe sleeves and put your wizarding skills to the test in a series of science sorcery challenges
- Wander through the Science Center exhibit halls, wine-in-hand
- Plus even more surprises around every corner!
Event Details:
This event is a part of the Maryland Science Center’s Adult Programs and is for ages 21+ only. A valid ID is required upon arrival. Admission includes participation in all activities and access to selected exhibits. Drink will be available for purchase from Boordy Vineyards. Please enter through the front Harbor Lobby entrance. This event is likely to sell out.
Costumes are encouraged, but no weapons are allowed.
All proceeds benefit the educational programs at the Maryland Science Center.
