Teachers, we want to celebrate you the best way that the Maryland Science Center can—with an epic science party!
Explore, mingle, and most importantly, have fun on Friday, October 18 from 5:00 – 8:00pm. Unwind with a beverage from our friends at Boordy Vineyards or Pherm Brewing Company and take some time to play through our exhibit halls—kid free! Connect with other teachers and learn more about how the Science Center can support you this school year through our field trip offerings and outreach programs.
This event is free, but advance registration is required. Please be prepared to show a valid teacher ID at check-in.
Activities included:
- Enjoy open exploration of the exhibit halls—including the Kids Room, The Shed, planetarium, and SciLab
- Pop into the SciZone classrooms for a hands-on preview of some of our most popular enrichment programs
- Catch a few spectacular science demonstrations performed by our Traveling Science team
- Ask a reservationist—get your questions answered about field trip and outreach bookings

Event Details:
This free event is exclusively for teachers. Advance registration is required. Valid teacher identification and a driver’s license are both required upon arrival. Teachers may choose to bring up to one additional adult (21+) companion. Adult beverages will be available for purchase from Boordy Vineyards and Pherm Brewing Company. Please enter through the front Harbor Lobby entrance.
