What is Music Under the Dome?
Glad you asked! Music Under the Dome is an immersive planetarium experience featuring in-house curated imagery set to a music playlist. Each show is uniquely developed to complement the soundtrack, and is only available at the Maryland Science Center. Check in for the show early and enjoy a complimentary happy hour, complete with adult beverages, special science demonstrations, and access to our space exhibits.

A ll Music Under the Dome events are part of the Maryland Science Center’s Adult Programs for ages 21+. A valid ID is required upon arrival. Your ticket is all-inclusive to our space exhibits, pre-show activities and demonstrations, drinks, and show in the Davis Planetarium. Doors open at 7:00pm. The first show begins at 8:00pm and the second show begins at 9:00pm. Both shows run for approximately 45 minutes. Please enter through the Constellation Learning/Group Entrance located on the Key Highway facing side of the building. This event is likely to sell out.
All proceeds benefit the educational programs at the Maryland Science Center.
