Dig into a gardening adventure!
Journey into the garden to explore plant anatomy, adaptations, and chemical reactions in this 3-hour workshop designed for ages 7-10. Create your own mini-garden from upcycled materials, investigate the form and function of plants through an instructor-led plant dissection, and experiment with chromatography to reveal the colorful pigments that leaves have hidden inside.

- Space in the classroom is limited to registered participants. Adults wishing to participate with their children need to purchase an additional ticket.
- The cost of the workshop includes all materials necessary for completing the described activities with hands-on instruction. Please arrive on time so that you don’t miss any important instruction.
- This workshop is led by instructors from Seedling— a non-profit working to improve health outcomes in Baltimore youth through food equity education.
