Animate your own gaming character in this intro to coding with ScratchJr!
Create interactive digital stories and build computer games using the ScratchJr programming language! Snap together graphical coding blocks to make your characters move, dance, sing, and jump. This workshop is perfect for children ages 5-7 and designed so that adults can learn alongside their children to keep the fun continuing at home!
Take a deeper dive into coding possibilities with ScratchJr during the second part of this workshop. In this optional add-on experience, participants will learn how to turn themselves, or a favorite toy, into an online character, and design even more games and programs.
