Po is a lazy panda and the largest fan of Kung Fu around. Unexpectedly Po gets a chance to fulfill an ancient prophecy and study Kung Fu along the legendary Furious Five–Tigress, Crane, Mantis, Viper and Mokey–under the leadership of their guru, Master Shifu. Without notice, the village is under the threat of the vengeful and treacherous snow leopard Tai Lung–and Po's Kung Fu skills and determination are put to the test. The unlikely hero finds that his greatest weaknesses turn out to be his greatest strengths.
