Maryland Science Center Switches to Summer Hours

The Maryland Science Center will change its hours of operation to a Summer schedule effective Monday, May 30, 2005, announced Senior Director of Marketing Christopher Cropper.

Through Labor Day, 2005, the museum will be open:

Sunday - Wednesday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Thursday - Saturday 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM.

“With summer break and the tourist season approaching, it’s necessary to keep the Maryland Science Center open seven days-a-week, and to extend the hours of operation to accommodate our visitors,” noted Cropper.

Extended hours will also give visitors additional time to explore
Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, on display through Labor Day, and featuring more than 250 objects recovered from the Titanic wreck site, plus dramatic room recreations of the ship’s cabins and public spaces.

The Maryland Science Center is located at 601 Light Street at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. For information and tickets, visit www.marylandsciencecenter.org or call the 24-Hour Information Line at 410-685-5225, TDD: 410-962-0223.
