Welcome to the Maryland Science Center’s Wonder Warehouse. Step inside. See the most amazing science you’ve ever seen. Spot scientific spuds as they sail across the room with a blast from the Fryzooka. Move to the pulsing sounds of the Goobulator as it puts non-Newtonian fluids in motion in a dizzying dance. Harness the energy of light to bend, break, and scatter it across a canvas of darkness.
Expect the unexpected in the Wonder Warehouse—a showcase of live science. Set in a giant industrial warehouse setting filled with odds and ends, visitors will encounter science like never before. The Maryland Science Center’s signature hands-on philosophy takes total control of the room as staff and visitors work together to explore basic scientific principles in a scientist meets inventor meets Rube Goldberg meets YOU environment. In all, over a dozen highly interactive areas fill the Wonder Warehouse.
