Education and Outreach Specialist
Fun, energetic team player needed to deliver off-site educational programming at schools and libraries. Additional responsibilities include interacting with visitors on the museum floor as well as maintaining supplies and equipment and providing logistical support for all programs. Opportunities to assist in the development of programming in the Education Department and the Maryland Science Center at large. Position is primarily Monday-Friday, but does include some evening, overnight and weekend hours.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree

Some teaching, theater, or museum educational experience

Public speaking skills and ease in front of an audience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Valid MD driver’s license

Good driving record

Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs. to load and unload vans
